Things You Should Never Buy At An Airport

It is wonderful to have the freedom to travel to any destination of your choice. The time you spend at the airport is by no means fee. There are a couple of flashy things you might run across at the airport that may catch your attention.

Purchasing them is not really a good idea is because they are often very expensive and they may not last long.

In this article, we are going to be looking at some things you should never buy at an airport.

We depend on the internet for valuable information that could improve our lives and make us better. While at the airport, you might be tempted to use their WIFI. It is often best you shun this urge because it is often not going to be worth it.

Most of the time, the WIFI at airports are overpriced and painfully slow.  You may be anxious to check your mailbox or your social media accounts. But really don’t have to, because those things can wait.

Instead of checking your phone, find an interesting book to read, write in a journal or do anything that you find interesting.

The flashy electronics that is being showcased in most airports can hold you spellbound. But buying them is not a good idea because they are usually overpriced. Research has shown that items that are sold at airports are 34 percent more expensive, especially when compared to the price you can get them at a local electronics store.

It is an excellent idea to eat a rich meal before your flight so as to avoid getting sick on a plane. You can get good at any restaurant close to the airport, but never at the airport. The reason for this is that they are overpriced, they don’t taste too good and they are not good for your health. Most travelers eat at the airport not because they are hungry but because they want to kill time.

You might want to get a souvenir that you will send back home. Buying it from the airport is not the way to go because they are very expensive. It is better you buy them at your travel destination, not the airport.

Final Note

Of course, there are other things you need to avoid while at the airport, do some research to find out about them.

How to Properly Clean Your Bathroom Before of After Traveling

Returning to a dirty bathroom after days, weeks or months on the road is never a pleasant experience. Hence you should really take some time to clean your bathroom either before you leave or when you return.

Bathrooms can be infested with many bacteria if not cleaned properly. The harmful bacteria can sometimes lead to diseases that are not serious. And other times, the diseases may lead to more serious complications. To prevent this from happening, you need to clean your bathroom properly using effective cleaning detergents like white vinegar instead of using water only.  Further, ensure your bathroom is dry at all times and especially after use, since moist areas are prone to bacteria growth.

Of course another solution, a bit more drastic nonetheless, is to wait until your bathroom is well beyond cleaning and perform an inexpensive bathroom renovation.

But for most of us, the above option is not really practical. So, here’s how you can effectively clean your bathroom:

Vinegar might be the secret weapon to get that stain or dirt out of your showerhead. Fill a plastic bag with white vinegar, attach the bag to the showerhead using rubber band and let it sit for an hour. Remove the bag, rinse the showerhead and then dry it with a soft cloth.

Bathroom side wall tiles

Mix equal amounts of vinegar and water in a container, then add some soap into the mixture. You can your hand or a stick to stir the mixture. Use a jug to pour the mixture on the surface of the tiles and then begin to scrub gently. You can as well pour the mixture in the spray bottle and spray it directly onto the tiles. Start from the top and work your way down and then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Put on clean rubber gloves. Pour white vinegar generously to the toilet. Allow this to sit for an hour, scrub to clean and rinse surface off with water.

Sink/Bathtub if available

Mix equal amounts of warm or hot water, baking powder and vinegar. Pour the mixture into the sink, wait a little and then rub with a soft cloth or sponge until it forms a paste. Let it rest for a few minutes and then rinse it with warm water. Use a clean towel to dry the sink. Repeat the same steps on the bathtub

Bathroom floor

Mix equal amounts of vinegar and water in a mopping bucket. Add any cleaning detergent you might have to the mixture and then the stir using your hand or stick. Using an all-purpose brush, scrub the floor gently, rinse with clean water and then use mop to dry the surface.

Travel Someplace Unknown – It’s The Best Thing You Can Do in Life

Traveling is awesome. And it’s the only thing you buy that makes you richer. Wonder how? With experience, of course! Experience is an essential part of our life in order to function better and aim for more. And the one way you can gain quality experience is by traveling to an unknown destination.

Traveling Someplace Unknown is the Best Thing You Can Do in Life

If you wonder whether you should travel someplace unknown, we encourage you to do it today! Why? Because it will be the best thing that you can do in life. If you still have additional questions why keep reading. We’ve prepared a few good reasons why you should pack your backpack today and hit an unknown road.

Traveling Someplace Unknown will Help You Find Yourself Again

People usually travel when they feel lost and if you want to travel now – you’re probably lost too. However, travel might help you find yourself again. By losing yourself someplace unknown, you will start focusing on yourself again. You will take care of yourself and you will have enough time to gather your thoughts.

You will gain time to reintroduce yourself to the mirror and get to know yourself better. In simple words – you will find yourself by losing yourself someplace unknown. Try! You have nothing to lose except that anxiety and negative energy you’re feeling right now. The road is waiting for you to hit it!

Traveling Someplace Unknown will Make You a Real Survivor

The best thing about traveling someplace unknown is not what you will see but what you will experience. When you are on your own, you turn on your capabilities, mind, and intuition to survive. You become a survivor. However, not like the survivors, you meet every day but a real survivor. A survivor who lives every day like it’s your last. On your travel, you will realize that everyone needs to learn how to live alone. Wonder why is this important? Well, you are the only person who’s going to be with you until the end of your life.

And because of that, learning how to love yourself and make yourself happy is quite important in life. You’re the only person you truly got in your life. Don’t lose yourself! If you do – travel. Travel has a super power to help people become real survivors and find themselves again.

Take for instance the last time I was traveling in Australia. We ended up buying a cheap car and just went for it. I mean we drove over more of the country than most of the local Aussies. However when we were passing through Sydney we ended up getting severe damage to the car. Fortunately we found a great windshield replacement company that came to us and replaced the windshield. We took that bump in our stride and continued on the great long Australian roads. We even survived the outback!

Traveling Someplace Unknown will Give Your Life a Purpose

Everyone suffers because they think they know what the purpose of life is. They follow society’s rules and feel devastated if they’re not capable of achieving something others do. The truth is – you don’t have to do what others do. Or follow their rules. If you think better, life doesn’t have a purpose!

And those who believe it does will suffer until they die. Traveling someplace unknown will make you realize that life doesn’t have a purpose with a purpose. And that purpose is for you to give it a purpose! You can be whatever you want. You can go wherever you want to go and you can live your life the way you want. Because it’s your life!
